Who we are

ShoutSmith is an AI marketing studio that helps product owners create, review, and publish social media content for their websites and apps. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@oneabsolute.co.uk.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Product and content data — the product details, brand information, screenshots, and screen recordings you add, and the marketing content (captions, images, videos) generated in your workspace.
• Performance data you log — post metrics (views, likes, comments, shares) you enter or that connected platforms report.
• Waitlist emails — if you join the waitlist on this site, we store your email and the page you signed up from, and use it only to contact you about ShoutSmith.

Connected social accounts

If you connect a social platform (for example TikTok or Instagram), we store the access tokens the platform grants us encrypted, and use them only to do what you asked: publish posts you have explicitly approved, and read the performance metrics of those posts. We never post anything without your approval, and you can disconnect an account at any time, which revokes our access.

AI processing

Generating content means sending relevant workspace data (brand details, captions, your uploaded media) to AI providers — Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs — under their API terms, which do not permit them to train on this data. We send only what the specific generation task needs.

Cookies

The app uses a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics on this site.

Where your data lives and how it's protected

Data is stored on our own servers, transmitted over HTTPS, with passwords hashed and platform tokens encrypted at the application layer. Access is limited to your own workspace: your data is never visible to other customers.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the AI providers above (to generate what you asked for), with social platforms you have connected (to publish what you approved), and where the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time — email hello@oneabsolute.co.uk and we'll act on it promptly. UK and EU users have the full set of rights under UK GDPR / GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and complaint to the ICO or your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and the date above.
